Arrow Season 5 Trailer Reveals New Heroes and Villains

Here's everything we know about Arrow season 5, including trailers, release date, and info on new characters.
The show that really started it all for the CW will be back for at least one more season. The CW revealed plans for Arrow season 5 back in March, and the first information is starting to make its way out there. This article is your one-stop location for everything you need to know about Arrow season 5. Also check : Watch Arrow Season 5 Streaming Online

Arrow Season 5 Release Date

Arrow Season 5 will premiere on Wednesday, October 5th, 2016 at 8 pm with the episode, "Legacy."
We've also got some new photos from the Arrow season 5 premiere, which can all be viewed in the gallery at the top of the article. The various images preview Oliver fighting some Russian gang members in his mayoral digs rather than his suit, the return of Anatoly, and our first real look at Prometheus.
Arrow Season 5 officially kicked off production on the first episode, which is called "Legacy" on July 6th. It boasts a story by Greg Berlanti, a script by Marc Guggenheim and Wendy Mericle (so that's all three of the showrunners accounted for), and it will be directed by James Bamford.
Mr. Bamford is also the stunt coordinator on Arrow, and helped give the show its action-identity. This is the episode that Stephen Amell is teasing will have one of the most punishing single take action sequences in TV history. Get ready!
Air date: October 5, 2016.

Arrow Season 5 Story

There aren't too many new details in here, but we figured you'd like to see it anyway...
After a violent shipwreck, billionaire playboy Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) was missing and presumed dead for five years before being discovered alive on a remote island in the North China Sea. Oliver returned home to Star City, bent on righting the wrongs of his family and fighting injustice. As the Green Arrow, he protects his city with the help of former soldier John Diggle (David Ramsey), computer science expert Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards), his vigilante-trained sister Thea Queen (Willa Holland), former police captain Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthorne) and brilliant inventor Curtis Holt (Echo Kellum). Newly appointed Mayor Oliver Queen finds himself challenged as he fights on two fronts for the future of Star City.
With Diggle back in the military and Thea adamant about hanging up her hood as Speedy, Team Green Arrow is down to just Oliver and Felicity – but they’re no longer the only vigilantes in town. Green Arrow’s public defeat of Damien Darhk at the end of Season Four has inspired a new crop of masked heroes to step up and defend the city, though their painful inexperience makes them obstacles, rather than allies, in the field. The arrival of a deadly new adversary will force Oliver to confront questions about his own legacy, both as mayor and as the Green Arrow.
Mericle also teased the de-mystification of Star City. (Thank god.) After a season particularly ruled by magic, Arrow is looking to return to the gritty groundedness of its first season. Speaking on the subject, Mericle teased...
This year we’ve gone back to the real criminal underworld of Star City. We’ll be dealing a lot with the criminal underworld and the kind of gangs and mobs that are there. We’ll see Bratva, we’ll see Triad, we’ll see the Los Halcones, and we’ll see some of the Bertinelli family, as well. You won’t necessarily see some of the same faces, but you’ll see some of those same groups from earlier on. It’s much more of a gritty crime threat to the city ...
For us, it’s a little more real. If you look at where the world is right now, there is this focus on what’s happening in our cities and what’s happening with violence in the streets. We’re able to reflect that back, in some way, and have dialogues about it in the writers room, and have our characters talk about it, too. It’s not magic. It’s not metas. It feels very much of the world we set out to explore, in Season 1.

The Walking Dead: Michael Cudlitz Hints at Abraham’s Season 7 Fate

The Walking Dead season 6 had more than its fair share of surprises for the audience. In addition to teasing the death of Glenn Rhee early in the season, only to walk it back (under a dumpster), the season also ended on a contentious cliffhanger in which incoming villain/series game changer Negan murders a key character from their perspective, leaving the identity a secret until the season 7 premiere (presumably). But that wasn’t all the series managed to deliver in terms of surprises. Perhaps one death in the series that went overlooked in all the chatter about Glenn and the season finale is the unexpected, unearned demise of Dr. Denise Cloyd (Merritt Wever), whose final moment bared a striking resemblance to the death of a major character from the comics. Also Check : The Walking Dead Season 7 Streaming
For those who read the comics, the moment might have been especially surprising as Denise’s death by crossbow bolt through the eye was originally delivered to the red-haired military man Abraham Ford (Michael Cudlitz). That deviation from the comics wasn’t the first that the television series has made in its six seasons, but it was one of the more conspicuous given the graphic nature of what occurred and the implications that immediately arose as a result. With Negan’s impending arrival common knowledge amongst viewers at the time, Abraham’s survival meant more than him simply switching places with another character; it opened up a whole new avenue of storytelling possibilities, as it afforded Sgt. Ford a chance to meet and interact with the bat-swinging Negan.
It remains to be seen whether or not that proves to be a good thing from Abraham’s perspective, as he may yet be revealed to be Negan’s victim, but the actor is aware the potential upside in deviating so dramatically from the source material. While talking with PopSugar, Cudlitz discussed his character’s survival and how the departure from the comics actually served to make series creator Robert Kirkman happy.
Cudlitz said:
“Well, [Robert] Kirkman was never happy with the death Abraham had in the graphic novels. He always said it was sort of a last-minute decision and that he regretted how he took him out. I think transferring that specific death of the crossbow arrow through the eye to Denise was sort of an Easter egg for the audience who follow the graphic novels. They know what that death should have been, but there’s also nothing lost on the television audience by not knowing that. It was a little gift just for them. Her death spurs on a whole bunch of other stuff, and then the audience knows that Abraham will continue for a while now. Now we get to see what a world with Negan and Abraham both in it will be like. That’s something we don’t see in the graphic novels. So a lot of cool stuff happens. For me, knowing that his potential death had come and gone, it was a moment to go, “Oh cool, they really aren’t going to stick with what the graphic novel does.” As a fan of both the novel and the show, it was cool.”
Obviously, the big takeaway is Cudlitz mentioning Abraham “will continue for a while now,” which, despite its spoiler-y nature, will likely please many fans and also set up a potential conflict (or not) between two willful, violent characters. Beyond the TV series allowing key moments from the comics to be altered to make what the creator sees as a correction, Cudlitz makes an interesting point about the change having a ripple effect that creates an entirely new dynamic from which potentially interesting character developments may arise.
What will a confrontation between the leader of the Saviors and Abraham look like? Well, fans only have less than two months to wait in order to find out.–
The Walking Dead season 7 premieres Sunday, October 23, 2016 @9pm on AMC.

Soon enough, Mike immediately gets into a heated exchange with his counselor, telling him, “I get it, I am no longer Mike Ross, just inmate no 53296.” But the counselor gave this fraudulent lawyer the real talk that he needed to hear, saying, “You walked in here thinking this is going to be some kind of a prison movie… it’s not a movie brother. It’s just prison.”
Getting into a heated conversation with the counselor is not the biggest mistake that Mike made in this episode. Mike unknowingly trusted a fellow cellmate, Frank Gallo. He opened up to him and told him about his true story, his fiancee, Rachel, and his ex-mentor, Harvey Specter.

Memorial Day Quotes and Sayings 2016

Freedom comes at the cost of many lives. On Memorial Day we like to remember and thank those fallen heroes that died fighting for our country. This honorary day is celebrated across the United States of America on the last Monday in May. Memorial Day tends to be confused with Veterans Day. The former is a remembrance of all those men and women that lost their life while serving in the armed forces, while the latter celebrates those who served in the U.S. military. On this day many people visit cemeteries and memorials to honor all of those heroes with many volunteers placing an American flag on each grave. The U.S. flag is raised to the top of the staff and then lowered to half staff, where it stays until noon. After that it is raised to full-staff for the rest of the day, which is symbolic as the flag rises and so is their memory by the living who promise to not let their sacrifice be in vain and continue to fight for liberty and justice for all. Take a read at some inspiring quotes on this Memorial Day. Also Check : Memorial Day Clipart
